AUBURN GOLD MINERS TRAP TEAM
To be a team member on the Auburn Gold Miners Trap Team, athletes must live locally in Auburn or in the surrounding area and either be a youth in grade 5th through 12th or you can shoot as a collegiate shooter. The athlete's on our team consists of both boys and girls.
Our team participates in two of the youth competitive leagues out there:
(SCTP)
Scholastic Clay Target Program
and the
(CYSSA)
California Youth Shooting Sports Association.
We shoot a variety of competitions from Sept. through June; some athletes choose to participate in other shooting organization competitions as well.
In both the SCTP and CYSSA leagues, our team members are placed in categories based upon their shooting experience and grade in school. We have athletes shooting at various levels.
